TextToSRT is an online tool site for TXT, SRT, and VTT subtitle workflows. We care about privacy because subtitle files, transcripts, course scripts, client interviews, internal training material, and unreleased video drafts may contain sensitive information. How Subtitle Content Is Processed

TextToSRT's core conversion tools process content directly on the current page. In normal use, when you paste text, upload a TXT/SRT/VTT file, convert subtitles, clean subtitles, copy output, or download a result, your subtitle content is not uploaded to our servers by the conversion action itself.

The text and files you place in the converter are mainly kept inside the current browser page so the tool can generate an immediate result. Refreshing the page, closing the tab, or clearing the input may remove that temporary content. Please save any output you want to keep before leaving the page.

If you choose to send us a support request, email, screenshot, sample text, subtitle excerpt, or other message through a contact channel, we will process that information for the purpose of responding to your request.

Information We May Collect

To operate the site, diagnose problems, and improve the experience, we may process the following information:
